How do I chat with other players?
PC version
You must visit a country first in order to chat with other players.
You can join a country by visiting the Airport.
A list of players in the country will be visible on the right. Click into the box to type in chat and press enter to send chat. This chat will be visible to all players in the country.
You can reverse the order of chat by clicking the arrow button at the top of the chat screen (newest chat at the top or bottom).
Mobile version
In game chat can be accessed from the races screen by clicking the red chat button at the top right of the window.
In the mobile version, chat will open over the top of the races screen. Press the “x” in the top right of the screen to close the window again and view races.
Once the chat window is open, you can tap/click on players names either in the player list on the right or in the chat window itself. Clicking on a player’s name will open their player profile so you can view their stats or send them a friend request.
Type your message by tapping in the box, entering text and clicking OK.
Why are players names displaying in different colours?
- Players with their names in gold are VIPs
- Players with a green highlight are those with chat enabled
- Players with a grey highlight are those with chat disabled, these players do not see the game chat and cannot communicate with other players.
- Players with flames around their profile are “Hardcore” players
