Horseshoes will be available at different levels and will enhance your horse’s performance on various track types or provide training bonuses.
Higher level horseshoes will have a greater effect, but the effect will vary depending on your horse’s base stats for performance on a particular track, or, in the case of training shoes, how ‘trainable’ they are.
However, a higher level shoe will always provide a greater effect and will degrade much slower, which means they do not need to be re-equipped as often.ย
Repairs
The state of repair does not affect the performance of the horseshoe when equipped.
Fully broken horseshoes cost twice as much to repair, so repairing your horseshoes before they break entirely is a good idea!
Higher level horseshoes will have higher level repair costs but will take longer to fully break.
Horseshoes can be repaired by visiting the Blacksmith.
Training Horseshoes
Training shoes will add a bonus to your horse’s trainability. This bonus increases with the item level.
The bonus effect also stacks with training increases from any training saddles if they are both equipped at the same time.
E.g. Equipping both a Level 1 training shoe (6% bonus) with a Level 1 vertical stripe saddle (3% bonus) = 9% bonus to training overall.
Track Preference Horseshoes
Horses each have their own track likes or dislikes.ย ย
Horses with a dislike for a track have a score of -1 for that particular track
Horses with no preference for a track have a score of 0 for that particular track
Horses with a like for a track have a score of +1 for that particular track
Adding track preference horseshoes will improve a horse’s Like score for that type of track.
For example, this horse has a dislike of Good tracks (-1 score).
But by equipping a level 1 Good shoe, she will now have a +1 to her like score for this track, which makes it a neutral preference (score of 0).
Since this particular horse already has a preference for Fast tracks, if we equip a Level 1 Fast shoe, her like score for a Fast track would increase from +1 to +2
If we equip a Level 2 Fast shoe, her like score for Fast tracks would increase from 1 to 2.2ย
Gold and Carbon Fibre Horseshoes
The Gold and Carbon fibre horseshoes provide a boost to a horse’s strength or endurance.ย Each increased level adds an additional star of strength or endurance as a bonus when equipped.
Freedom horseshoes
Freedom horseshoes will boost your horse for Open Graded races while equipped (not to be confused with open countries).
Cobalt horseshoes
Cobalt shoes provide a boost for middle distances races whilst equipped. The boost is strongest on 10k races, whilst only 75% effective at 8k and 12k distances.
Matriarch horseshoes (Evo only)
The Matriarch horseshoes are a breeding shoe for mares only which gives a percentage chance to permanently boost all of the currently alive offspring owned by the player and bred by the equipped mare. The boost will increase strength and endurance by +1.ย The shoe must be equipped when the mare is breeding.
The percentage chance increases for each foal a mare has birthed previously (Matriarch shoe does not have to be equipped for previous breedings for these to count). This chance also increases with shoe level.ย E.g. If your mare has bred 4 times before with a level 1 Matriarch saddle, there is an extra 4% chance on top of the 25% chance (29%).
1st level 1%
2nd level 1%
3rd level 1%
4th level 2%
5th level 2%
6th level 2%
Blue Suede Shoe (Evo only)
Equipping the Blue Suede Shoe to your stallion earns you more money for studding your stallion to another player.

Hi, there is a separate page for the saddles please see Saddles
Useful info in here, cheers for that.
Love these charts, but just wondering what does +1.2 like mean? does it mean it adds 1.2 stats to str and end on those track types?
The other question is with the freedom and cobalt shoes, it adds 300% of what? What’s the % change exactly? thanks for the help ๐
Hello, just wondering what the % numbers for the freedom and cobalt shoes are in relation to, and what a ‘track like’ influence is? Do they both boost stats a certain amount?
Thanks
hello team, how to get level 5 shoes?
